America's presidential race gets weirder
White people news: The myth, enigma and legalities of Donald Trump.
Donald Trump was booked several weeks ago in Atlanta, Georgia for conspiring to overturn the 2020 presidential election. This is the fourth indictment for The Apprentice host despite presently running for President of the United States, for the third time.
Trump’s current legalities have garnered my full attention because of how ghetto the whole ordeal seems. For decades, America through neocolonialism and western media propaganda has touted its democracy as THAT girl. The one to aspire to and replicate, but with Trump’s presidency— America’s thin veil was removed.
The weirdest thing about Trump’s arrests is his options to presidency still remain quite attainable. Trump's Georgia trial will be televise, with persecutors pushing for an early 2024 trial date. All of which will be happening during the Republican presidential primaries. Despite this, Trump doesn't seem the least fazed or at least pretending not so. According to The Constitution of the United States, convicted felons can still be President. Regardless of the trial's outcome, Trump's MAGA cult will remain devoted.
I don’t know, but something seems really eerie about this upcoming election. In leftist social chatter, talks about a potential civil war seem very plausible. Trump's current political strategy liken to that of Italian authoritarian Benito Mussolini, once ally to Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Germany.
If Trump so vehemently contested the 2020 elections, what faith do we have in 2024? The indictments were needed, but a little too late considering Trump’s current projection.
